A. Course Description
From Jesus to Yeshua explores the identity of the Messianic Believer from the Nations. Is it possible to have a Jewish identity without being Jewish? Dr. Doug Wheeler and Pastor Matt McKeown explain the complex concept of ‘the remnant’ and what is the prophetic role of the gentiles in the last days. We will learn about the principle of ‘all Israel will be saved’ and what is the spiritual meaning of the term ‘Hebrew’. Finally, we will scratch the surface of the explanation of the 5 levels of the Jewish soul and how this ties in to our understanding of this change in perspective.

B. Course Objectives
1. To answer the question 'Who is the remnant'?
2. To understand how and why a gentile would take on Jewish Identity
3. To properly grasp the concept of covenant
4. To understand the 5 levels of the soul in Judaism

C. Requirements for Credit
A passing grade of 75% or more
A - 95% or higher
B - 85% to 95%
C.- 75% to 85%

D. Grading Scale:
You will be graded based on 25% for the exams, 25% for the Final Paper and 50% for the oral exam.

E. About the Instructors:
Matt McKeown is the Associate Pastor at the United Brethren in Christ Church (UBIC) in Holly Hill Florida and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Counseling and a Master's in Practical Theology. He has served on his denomination’s Youth Leadership Team and National Human Sexuality Task Force. Matt also taught on tours in the Holy Land and has provided music for the Bless Israel Network. Matt, his wife Kara and their three teenage children live in the Daytona Beach area of Florida and in addition to serving at UBIC attend Beth Judah Messianic Synagogue in Ormond Beach.

Douglas A. Wheeler, Ph.D., Th.D., has been a pastor for over 40 years. He is the founder of The House of Study where he currently pastors. Dr. Wheeler was a professor on staff and Academic Dean for Jubilee Christian College and Jubilee Graduate School of Jewish-Christian Studies from 1995 to 2008, where he served as President from 2008 to 2014. Dr. Wheeler is the founder and President of Kidron Christian College, established in 2014, where he continues to be a professor.
 Dr. Wheeler has an earned Ph.D. from California Graduate School of Theology and an earned Th.D. from Florida Theological Seminary and is a member of the Oxford Society of Scholars. He has published several works, including Betrothed—An Intimate face To Face Walk With God.
